i am filing chapter 7 bankruptcy. can the home be included in this? i do not wish to retain the property.
Hi tnt!
Welcome to forums!
You can definitely include your property in Chapter 7 bankruptcy filing. As you do not wish to keep the property, you should surrender the property to the lender while you're in bankruptcy. The lender will sell it off in order to recover his mortgage dues.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
