My home was forclosed on, and my husband was in bankruptcy.
Hi jodiem,
If you had included the property in bankruptcy, then the lender will not be able to foreclose it. The bankruptcy court will issue an automatic stay against the creditors which will prevent them from taking action against the debtor/borrower. If your lender has foreclosed the property despite of the fact that you filed bankruptcy, then you can take legal actions against him. Contact your bankruptcy attorney and he will let you know what steps you need to take.
Thanks
