If I have a judgement against me and I file bankruptcy do I still have to pay it

Posted on: 03rd Nov, 2010 07:10 am
I'm getting ready to file bankruptcy. My husband and I both have a judgement against us and are making monthly payments. If bankruptcy is approved, do we still have to pay on this or is it included in the Chapter 7?
Hi mamaridgeee,

Welcome to mortgage fit,

person files BK when he is totally out of sight as far as financial condition is concerned to manage on his own.So you may include this judgment in ch.7 filling and thus if your BK is approved you could get a fresh start ....

Feel free to ask any further query if you have........
