If my hubby and mines gross monthly is $6200 (the median is $5708) and we enter in info on a "means" test, such as taxes, car payments, child care, health insurance.. we then are negative every month, does this mean we can qualify for a 7 ?

If your gross monthly income is more than the median income level in the state, your net income i.e. monthly income minus monthly expenses is taken into consideration. To check out whether you qualify for chapter 7, you can refer to the page mentioned below:
