Hi:
I wanted to know if there is any circumstances on which you can declare chapter 7 is you do NOT pass the means test. I spoke to a lawyer today and he told me that it could be a possibility.
In summary, my income is higher that the means test, but i have 2 children, a student loan, support parents financially. My debts are deficiencies in properties i had in florida (one was foreclosed and the other one is a shorsale deficiency.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

hi morfeuss!
welcome to forums!
as far as i know, unless you pass the means test, you won't be able to qualify for filing chapter 7 bankruptcy.
