If I file bankruptcy, mainly becuse of medical bills Will I be able to keep my house. I have no PMI.
It depends on the type of bk you file. I would speak with an attorney on this matter. Some will give you a free intial consultation.

If you file chapter 7 you can keep your home.

With chapter 7, it depends on the State you live in - each one has different exemption amounts. If it's chapter 13, then yes, you'll always be able to keep your house.

PMI has no bearing on the outcome.

You'll be able to ask a local bankruptcy attorney questions for free from www.legalhelpers.com

It all depends on the bk you file but definitely talk to the bk attorney as they can tell you exactly what you need to do.
