my husband and I split up 3 1/2 yrs ago and i left the home. when I left i filed for serperation and filed bankruptcy to include my home. my husband is no longer living in the home and i found out i am still on the deed and want to move back in what are my options? i have been told its possible but complicated

i tried talking with the bk lawyer and his response was that its not possible but is complicated. i cant believe I am the first person this has happened to??
If you included your house int he bankruptcy you shoudl eb able to get back in the house

why do you want house now? do you have equity in it?

You've mentioned that you filed for bankruptcy. What type of bankruptcy did you file for - Chapter 13 or Chapter 7? If you filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy and surrendered the property to your lender, then you won't be able to claim it back. If you filed for Chapter 13, then the lender must have given you a payment plan to pay off the dues. If you had paid off the dues according to that, then the property would be free and clear and you can claim ownership.
