I filed a personal bankruptcy almost 2 years ago. I need to reaffirm the loan and the bank said I need to re-open the bankruptcy. Is it possible to do in California? Thanks for your help!
Hi hammrski,
As far as I know, you can reopen your bankruptcy case in California. However, whether you will be allowed to reopen the Chapter 7 bankruptcy case depends on your individual situation. Talk to your bankruptcy attorney as he is the right person to tell you if you can reopen the bankruptcy case to reaffirm the loan.
