Will filing bankruptcy remove me from the mortgage on the house my exhusband lives in and has sole title to?

when i got divorced 2 years ago, i quit claimed the deed to the house to my ex. husband. my name is not on the first mortgage. i want to get my name off the 2nd mortgage. he lives alone in the house. i have other debts in my name he was ordered to pay which he won't. my question is about the 2nd mortgage. if i file for bankruptcy will my name be removed from the 2nd mortgage leaving him soley responsible. he refuses to try and refinance in his name only.
Hi debbiejohnson,

If you file bankruptcy and include the mortgage in it, then you will be released from the liability of paying off the mortgage dues. You will receive a discharge from it. Your ex-husband will solely become responsible for the mortgage payments.

Thanks
