Home prices beating inflation


According to the statistics provided by the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA), housing prices in the country moved upwards by 1.8% in the second quarter of 2012 in comparison to that of the first quarter. The data provided by the FHFA reveals that the purchase-only seasonally adjusted Home Price Index (HPI) increased by 3% in the second quarter of 2012 in relation to the second quarter figure of 2011.
