I am trying to close on a house at the end of December. It is now November 12th. The underwriters found a problem with my 08 and 09 taxes, so my husband and I had to do an amendments. We just sent the amended tax forms in the mail last week. I am concern that we will not be able to make our end of month closing due to the lenders not being able to see the amended changes in order to approve loan. The lenders say he has to do an4506t te request changes to our taxes. Will the lendere be able to seed changes and how ling does it it take? We are desperate to close on time.
Thank you for your help in this matter.

Welcome coopmay,
Once the IRS makes the required amendments, then only the lenders will be able to see them. You may contact IRS and check out if they can help you in speeding up the process regarding amendments.
