Hi david, First the irs is very tough they will place lien on ur property once u start to fall behind its not guarnteed but it could happen and you dont want this. And yes you can request a payment plan to pay back the taxes. Are you already behind on ur taxes?

Call IRS and talk to them. They are quite accomdative as logn as you have right justification and documentation.

gary did you miss the slightly sarcastic tone to my post up above? i was reacting to the prior poster's suggestion that he go find a new job. that was such a waste of energy, time and internet space that i just had to chime in.

retired from military (21) yrs. cant get pension until I'm 65. cant pay house taxes behind $7,500. need help where, who please tell me what i can do. taking care of a (6), (5), and (2) year old. They live with me, moms didnt want them, I didnt want them to go to the state. They are my grandkids. I get no assistance for them, none no food stamps nothing please help.
