We rented a property recently by signing the lease agreement. We have a baby and wanted a safe place to stay. But since I moved in the last week, I found that the place is infested with bugs. I was not informed about it or else I wouldn't have gotten into this property. Me and my husband want to get out of this lease. Will that be possible?
Hi Lindsey,
Well, if the bugs are affecting your baby's health, then you should be able to move out without lease. But if you wish to avoid that, then you can contact your landlord to ask him to have the place professionally sprayed and see if that helps.
Take care

Getting the lease null and void may take considerable amount of time and so, you may ask your landlord to get it sanitized by a pest control firm. If this fails, then you wont have any other option other than the one said by Sara.
