I have one deceased parent whom I know had close to $100K when they died. How can I find out?...I am his only child. My parents divorced a few years before he died. My aunt (his sister) gives me large amounts of cash periodically, but I don't think it is her money, but his. This money I believe is mine and I think she is using it for her benefit also. I do know he had a Financial Planner and I know where the office is....not much more information. What do you suggest?
Hi debarj!

Welcome to forums!

You'll have to contact your aunt and discuss the issue with her. You can request her to give you the details about the finances your parents left after their death. If you want you can even contact an attorney and discuss your issue. He will be the right person to let you know what steps you need to take.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
