I am planning to let my friend and his wife stay in one of my properties for 3-4 months. After 3-4 months, do I have to send them a formal eviction letter and evict or I can simply kick them out. I own the property outright and they won’t be paying any rent to me in this time period.
Hi Amanda,
It is your property and you have not signed any formal rental agreement with them. In such a situation, you can kick them out any time you feel like.
Take care

Hi Amanda!
Welcome to the forums!
If you wish, you can send them a formal eviction letter and ask them to leave the property. However, as there is no formal rental agreement with them, you can ask them to leave the property any time you feel like.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
