I am paying taxes on a property that my father is an heir to.There are many heirs but I am paying all the taxes. Is it possible to receive a deed for this property since I am the only one payig the taxes?
Hi khj1045,

Welcome to Mortgage fit,

Flat answer to your question is big 'No'.At the most what you can do is to ask the other heirs to pay their % share taxes....
If by only paying the taxes (which could be few % of the property value) one is able to own the property then surely everybody would have adopted that route..But I surely ascertain it as not legal to approach this way to get the property .....

Feel free to ask any further query if you have......
