I received a 3 day notice to move out of the property. I followed the notice and moved out. Now they have taken legal action and reported it on my credit report. I now cannot rent a decent place. They verbally agreed that they won't report.
Hi Guest,
Sending you the 3 day notice is in itself a legal actions. Moreover, verbal agreements don't have any value. The landlord has the right to report the eviction to your credit report.
Thanks,
Jerry

Hi Guest!
Welcome to the forums!
I agree with what Jerry has said. If you wish you can speak to the landlord and request him to remove the item from your credit report.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
