My mother-in-law added my husband's name to the title of her house before she passed away. Does that mean the house doesn't need to go through probate to pay her credit card bills?
Hi Paula!
Welcome to the forums!
As the house in your husband's name, the credit card company will not be able to come after it. It will not be a part of the probate.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.

Hi Paula,
If your mother-in-law's name is not mentioned on the deed, then her creditors will not be able to come after the property.
Thanks
