In order to help a coworker, I signed a lease in my name because he was facing bad credit and could not get an apartment to live. Everything was fine with him and he was paying the rent on time. Recently he moved out of the property without informing me and 1 month rent is due. The landlord is coming after me. What can I do to recover the money from him?
Hi Shabin,
You should immediately try to get in touch with the co-worker recover the money from him. But in case the co-worker doesn't pay you, then you will have to pay it off from your own pocket!
Take care

Hi Shabin,
It would have been better if you would have not signed the lease agreement in your name. It will be difficult for you to now force your co-worker to pay off the delinquent amount.

Hi Dillair,
You should immediately contact an attorney and check out what legal actions you can take against her.
