Rental payment changes

Posted on: 20th Jun, 2013 11:59 pm
I am renting a property and the landlord keeps on increasing the rent whenever he feels like. Also, recently he is charging me a huge amount as pet rental. He does not even give me proper reasons for the increase in rental payments. What should I do now?
If you have a rental agreement with the landlord, then he cannot change the payments arbitrarily. That will be illegal and you may take legal actions against the landlord.

A rental agreement is a voluntary contract you can negotiate or quit per the terms of the agreement.
