Is there anyone who can help me try to figure out why I spend most of my money as soon as I get it? I do pay all my bills on time so far, and I"ve even started making payments on some of my old debts but it seems my paycheck which is usually $950 is gone before two weeks is up my husband gets mad at me that I don't save any money my problem is I dont know how to save it, and was never taught to save money I think it's something I need to learn any advice on how I might be able to go about this? I thought of putting at least $50 aside from everypay check, but if I have access to it my good intention seems to go all wrong and I either give it to my husband for safe keeping which he just puts in his pocket or I spend it on something, and don't remeber where it went in the end any advice?
THanks,
Melissa
check the following: moneymanagement.org

they have free (yes, FREE) online counseling seminars that you can check into...they are a wonderful service in general, dealing with credit counselign, etc. but included in this series is "building savings and wealth" and "managing income and expenses," among others.

now, please don't ask me why I haven't taken advantage of these things. i've worked with this organization for years, and they're legitimate. please believe me when i say i don't go to bat for an organization unless and until they've proved their value.
