Big tax deduction

Hi everyone,

I got a credit score over 700, my income past two years was about 36k each year, but as a self employee I have deduct too much for millage so I got in big trouble to earn a mortgage loan. Bank of America offered me 18k, which is silly. But I still have a feeling, they didn't tried hard enough. I am a first time home buyer and found a great home single family for 80k. I am able to pay 10k down payment, but I can't get the mortgage. This year (first 6 months) I made over 20k, but don't have tax return yet of course (2010). Is there any way to get the loan???? Thanks.
Hi eurorealtor!

Welcome to forums!

You can speak to other local lenders and apply for a loan with them. If you meet the requirements of those lenders, then they would give you a mortgage. If they don't offer you a loan, then you need to improve your financial situation first and then apply for a mortgage.
