I rent my primary home out because my job location (same state but over 100 mi). I now rent an apartment. How do I get my tax breaks because Im losing every month.
Your primary home is now a rental property. There is too much to explain regarding rental properties and taxes. Check out the IRS website and look at the itemized expenses form.
there are some of the online websites which do gives you standard forms to be filled for the tax purpose if you are renting your property you can check with them.As we do not have the standard forms available for the specific query addressed by you.
forget online websites other than irs.gov. the irs is the only sensible solution for someone who lacks knowledge, unless you have a viable tax accountant with whom you would work to do your returns. and by viable, i don't mean the storefront folk who open up on january 1 and close down on april 16.
