is it legal to add an unrelated person as a joint tenant on title to a property for refinancing if the property owner's credit doesn't qualify alone for a refinance?

Hi tweemz,

As far as I know, you'll be able to add an unrelated person to the property deed. However, to be on the safer side, you should contact a real estate attorney and take his opinion in this matter.
