In California, is there ANY way for grantee to file for correction of quit claim to assign the correct grantee?
A quit claim was filed with wrong grantee. Grantor and grantee mutally agree to change. Is there an appeal process of means of filing another quit claim to show corrections?

is deed notarized? if not it is not valid and you can file a correct deed.
other wise as mentioned by you, new owner is ready for correction. in that case he can sign q quit claim deed in the name of right person.

About 10 years ago my husband told me I had to sign this paper to release my rights to the deed on our home because of my bad credit.
The deed says it his his sole property as a married man. I did it because he said he would put me back on the deed once the loan was through. Well, he never did. Now we are in our 50's and I worry what will happen to our house if he dies? What happens to the property in cases like this?
I'm just praying every night that I die first!

Hi Donna,
You can now ask your husband to sign a quitclaim deed and add your name to the property deed. Or else, you'll have to file an affidavit of heirship and transfer the property in your name after his death.
