Can my Daughter file a lien against my house to secure my promise to finance her education?...I am resident of the California and have promised to my daughter to pay for her education in witting.
Can she file a lien against my house to secure my promise to finance her education without any judgment?
What type of lien it would be?

Hi standa!
Welcome to forums!
In order to place a lien, your daughter will have to file a lawsuit in the court. The court will investigate the whole issue and then pass the judgment. If your promise is in writing, then there's a chance that she may be able to place a lien on the property. However, I would suggest you to contact an attorney and discuss your options with him or her.
Feel free to ask if you have further queries.
