When a Wife wants to add her husband to property title in CA which Quitcaim deed is used<
Prior to creation of a Revocable Trust, a wife who is sole owner of her property wishes to add her husband as JT to the property. A California Interspousal Transfer Deed is what I hear is recommended but it appears that all the Deeds I have viewed would give up the wife's ownership of the property and pass it to the husband. So what Deed is best to use?

Do you have an attorney involved in forming this trust?
The wording of the deed may be what's not clear to you. It doesn't sound like your intention is to give up your title in the property just 'share' title with your husband.
If your intention is to hold title as Joint Tenants a right of survivorship is included. It sounds like you want to hold title as husband and wife in joint tenancy. If this is correct, remember the words tenants in common gives you each the right to will your share of the property to another.

Get with a local title company and ask them what options are available they should be able to match your needs to the right deed. There are many ways to hold title and each has its own purpose.
