Do you have to use spouses income or put the spouse on loan in the State of California to do a DU Refi Plus
Hi Guest,
California is a community property state. In that case, the lender may ask you to add your spouse's name to the property as well as the loan.
Thanks

Additional information about California law, California being a community property state. This means that individuals cannot apply for a mortgage on a property without notification to and consent from their spouse. California law also states that if a borrower is using a spouse's income, alimony or child support as part of his income for qualifying purposes, then the spouse (or former spouse) may be required to provide information to the lender
YOu do not have to add her to the loan. You have to include her debts as part of qualifying.
