Hello,
I apologise in advance I htink I am doing this incorrectly.
My husband and i are jointly deeded to a timeshare in cancun. Since separation (2 years ago) he has been the sole benefactor with the verbal understanding that he will also be the sole payee. Well a maintenance fee is now due for the first time since separation as we pay bi-annually and he is coming with his hand out. He is agreeable to making all associated payments and being the sole benfactor when it sells (as it is for sale) with the proper documentation. What is the proper documentation. I would like to avoid lawyers and go the route of a notarized document if possible.
Cheers

Hi lolahmfmjj ,
Welcome to Mortgage fit,
You can surely avoid the lawyers...but in order to get your document notarized you need to approach a lawyer/attorney...I mean somehow or other you need to approach a person who is related to legal doc..s Ok now what you can do is....Get a divorce decree prepared...or else you can prepare on your own which can be agreed by both the parties.Specifically mention about this timeshare property details in the divorce decree...Get it notarized....and register it in the local county office....
Feel free to ask any further query if you have.....
