Question: My chapter 7 was discharged Dec. 09 with my home included in the bankruptcy. The mortgage company hired a law firm to manage the foreclosure process. Evidently the law firm/mortgage co. dropped the ball and did not continue with the foreclosure as I received an "Order of Dismissal For Lack of Prosecution" from the court. I called the court and they said the case had been dropped.
Can I rent the home even though I included it in my bankruptcy? What are my options?

If you included your house in a chapter 7 and it was dismissed I would probably call your bankruptcy attorney for advice.
Are you still living in your home?
