Community ranks its members as Experts and Mentors

Posted on: 23rd May, 2008 05:13 am
Hi all,

Our community has ranked its members as Community Experts and Mentors in recognition of their valuable participation in the community activities.

Who are the Experts and Mentors?
Community Experts and Mentors are members of our community who have sound knowledge of mortgage/finance and property issues. They're the ones who help people by sharing views on their subjects of knowledge.

You need not be a finance/legal professional to be a Community Expert or Mentor. What you need to have is knowledge on the respective subject (be it mortgage, deeds etc) and a helping mind so that you can guide people in the right direction.

An Expert or Mentor should be able to simplify financial/property related issues so that people seeking advice get a clear idea and decide accordingly.

It's the community who decides upon the Experts and Mentors. However, there are different qualifying criteria for Expert and Mentors.

Who can be a Community Expert?
To be an Expert, you need to fulfill the criteria as given below:
  • You need to have good knowledge of finance, property and other issues discussed in forums.

  • You should be willing to keep yourself updated with the latest in the industry.

  • You need to make at least 100 quality posts in forums.

  • You must be an active forum participant for the past 1 month.

  • You should be able to guide people in the right direction.

  • You should have sound knowledge of mortgage/finance and property issues.

  • You need to make 600 quality posts in forums.

  • You must be an active forum participant for the past 6 months.

  • You should be able to help people with the right financial advice.

  • You should be moderating at least 1 forum for last 3 months.

Apart from the above criteria, Experts and Mentors are expected to get involved with the community and abide by the forum rules and guidelines .

Thanks,

Sam

Thank you for your thoughts to me. I appreciate it. I will pay more attention now. I was kind of dabbling with answering questions from time to time. I had no idea "the powers to be" read my responses.

Once again, thank you.
