I am in search of any information or personal experiences in dealing with American Residential Law Group. I have spoken to them on the phone a few times and i thinking of moving ahead with the loan modification process. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
i was extremely skeptical of american residential after my short sale failed when i worked with another "short sale specialist company". my home equity loan was with chase and they wouldn't agree to the short sale. american residential was able to reduce my home equity loan & reduced my first loan with asc by $823. now i don't have to sell my home. the process took almost 3 months from start to finish. i wish it didn't take so long.
After losing my job I had a hard time paying all of my bills and the bank said I didn't qualify because of unemployment. I could afford my payment, but couldn't come up with the past due 8 thousand dollars. Lauren was able to buy me enough time to find a job and bring me current. My payment wasn't lowered, but I'm back on track and can pay my bills again!
brett - how did it work out for you? was ARG able to help you ?
elaine i don't think you're going to get any response other than the platitudes you see up above. it looks, to me, like 3 of the firm's employees touting themselves in order to drum up business. then again, i am always skeptical about these modification firms that have popped up.
now when i open my own, it will be legitimate! haha...don't look for that to happen anytime soon, either.

I have been dealing with American Residential for the last 6 months. The customer service was fantastic BEFORE they took my money, but has gone downhill since. I am still hoping that they deliver, but at this point I am not very optimistic. I wish everyone the best of luck, and if anyone else can share their experience with this company I would greatly appreciate it. Good luck everyone.

Go figure, huh, Pam? Once these outfits have money in their greedy little hands, there's a severe lack of motivation to get them to perform any sort of miracle for a client.
In my estimation, it's only those whose policies don't involve draining their clients of all available funds that are worth doing business with. I guess that's a slam towards this company, but c'est la vie.
