My mortgage is held by Aurora which is owned and operated by Lehman. What will happen to my mortgage with them, now that they have filed Bankruptcy ? Should I wait to send my next payment until I find out whats going on with my mortgage, and who will be the new holder of my mortgage ?
melena,
I would continue making payments as usual. The bankrupcy only affects how they handle paying out their own debts. Most likely your mortgage will be purchased by another company and I am sure you will receive something in writing when this happens.

You still have the SECURED debt. Aurora/Lehman services the loan. The company BK does not affect borrowers and the loan will be sold to another servicer. PAY YOUR DEBT!
Are you the investor of my Mortgage loan thru Bank Of America with the last 4 digits of 9739
