In July 2009 I applied for a loan modification from chase because of cancer illness I have not been able to work as many hours as I used to and and have fallen behind 2-3 payments. I sent everything they asked for and then in September 2009 they wanted the same information again and faxed everything again. No one ever called or sent me a letter about the progress of the loan mod. and when I called they said it was in the process and would take 3 to 6 months. In March 2010 they finally sent me a letter saying that I did not send them the information they asked for and the case was closed. I told them they had no intention of helping me to begin with and I sent them everything they asked for. Now they are asking me to do this again and they want to know why I am so negative. Sorry this is so long just wanted to know if anyone else has had this same thing happen with Chase or other banks. Being ill and dealing with this company is so stressfull. Thanks Lynn in PA.
Hi lrichardson,
A large number of people are facing this kind of problem. I would suggest you to contact your lender and apply for a loan modification again. You should keep in touch with them on a regular basis and ask them to modify the loan asap.
Thanks
