Yes they will start your new credit record. But new account opening will be depended on your previous credit records.

If you close your present savings account and open a new one, then there are less chances that the payday loan company will come after you.
wow...i pretty much figured this query was about opening/closing a bank account also, but how did you get that this is about a payday loan, niicss?
It was just a wild guess, George...
In some of the discussions related to payday loan companies, I have found posters complaining that they had closed their old account and the creditor is now garnishing their new account.

and probably not a bad guess, either. you're right about that - sometimes also related to judgments that lead to bank executions too.
the only real adantage I could see with this is that it might be a little harder for anyone seeking to recover debts to track down your savings, but I doubt this is really a "fix" of any sort. more like a stall or "buy time" tactic.
it's definitely going to buy time, but at the same time, it's going to be awfully hard for payday loan company to track down this new account. they could send their sheriff or whoever it is on a wild goose chase, but most don't want to be bothered. so it actually could end up as a long-term fix. do you every escape the debt entirely? i don't think so, no.
um, im trying to figure out what company deposited the money into my account it says SSM group but, when i call it transfers me to another company and then, they make me leave a message?? how do i get ahold of a REAL person??
Hi corlew,
It is quite surprising that when you contact SSM, they transfer the call to some other company. In my opinion, you should contact an attorney and take his suggestions in this matter. He will let you know what steps you need to take in this case.
Take care.

I'm not sure an attorney would be valuable in this instance. But I also don't understand why you'd be seeking the name of the company that deposited money into your account, Corlew. When you borrow money, don't you pay attention to the name of the concern that is doing the lending? Does it really make that much difference, if all you really need to do is to be certain to pay back that money so that you'll be free from the debt?
