eLife Financial - Is it is a scam company?

I recently heard of elife financial and went to one of their presentations. Is this for real? Im trying to wrap my brain around it and find the scam. Does anyone have experience with this program/company and care to comment?
Oh well, are they really up to making realtors work as loan officers? my goodness! god save those innocent borrowers who fall into their traps :)

well "Concerned citizen" I think that it is funny that you position yourself as a "concerned citizen" when in fact you are actually a competitor. You were an average loan officer when you were here and you will be probably at your next place. You represented yourself as a friend to the owner of lighthouse and to me personally. You came by my office just yesterday just to chat. You are still running loans through our branch. I think that you are despicable. You are telling lies and representing things as facts when they really are just your ignorance and rumors being perpetuated by fearful little people. (like yourself)

I know where you work now and I am not going to start telling all of the things that are wrong with it though there are a few. The truth is most of us at eLIFE feel we are doing ourselves and our clients a service. Our clients are happy. We are growing through positive things not trying to benefit ourselves by putting down others. I have so much more to say concerning you but I will wait until another time. If I keep seeing you come to the office though I will have words for you. I wish that you were a more honest and good person like the one you pretended to be.

The answer in a resounding no. Concerned citizen came to lighthouse/elife from another mortgage company and she told us all of the same things about them. She gets off on making others look bad so she can feel better. I am glad that I didn't know about this post when I saw here yesterday and we chatted about her sisters cancer. (It is in remission thank goodness)

I just think that everyone here needs to know what kind of person she is so that they will take what she says with a grain of salt.

I don't know who you think you're referring to, but it appears you have the wrong person. I wasn't in your office a few days ago, and don't have a sister with cancer. I'm not still "running loans" with your company and haven't since leaving. You should make certain who you're talking about before defaming someone innocent.

Your comments are definitely out of line, and highly unprofessional. If you have a "cutting edge" product, and one that involves a mindset change, then you should have been prepared for criticism, both good and bad. In your company's case, it is my opinion that you are selling an over-priced product that doesn't work. Any earlier post echoed this sentiment, when talking about unhappy clients. My criticism is about the poor structure, management and product capability, that's it. I would never go beyond business and leadership decisions and attack you or anyone else on a personal level. That's cold.

By the way ... how's it coming with getting your broker license transferred from Lighthouse to eLIFE's name? Oh, didn't happen yet, maybe because banks don't want to work with you? What about the "bank lines" you promised everyone, only to later re-cant and say it's not going to happen right now. More empty promises.

You see, I don't have to talk about your family, as there's more than enough to discuss with your poor business practices. Keep on doing what you're doing (or promising, but not doing), and I'm sure you'll give all of us plenty of things to chat about in the future.

Now that I looked at this blog again, I realized who Sivartmubal is ...

TRAVIS LABRUM !!!! You thought you were sneaky by spelling your name backwards, you rascal you.

For all of you who don't know Travis ... he was just an average loan officer at Lighthouse Financial Group who got promoted to Branch Manager when eLIFE stepped in. How, you ask? Because of his wonderful leadership skills? NO ... because he was best buddies with the Lighthouse owner.

So tell me Travis, what authority did they really give you? And if I were still in your company, and doing more loans than you ever did monthly, why would I come to you for help or questions?

Now ... since we all know who posted the trash-talking remarks about someone innocent (wasn't about me) ... and since you know he is part of the eLIFE leadership team (if you can call them leaders), now I think my points have been proven about the professionalism there, and case & point why I left.

Maybe I should send this to Isaac, or Daniel, or Sheldon, or James ... JUST KIDDING ... you don't need anymore help to show your lack of tact and skill.

I posted an apology to the person that I attacked. It didn't show up for some reason. I have talked with her and we have come to an understanding. (I was wrong) I am like others in this industry and we are all feeling the pinch. I thought that someone in my circle of friends was trashing the company that I work for and therefore my livelihood. It seemed odd coming from a personal friend. That is why I responded so angrily.


As to you Eric I do not care to trash you or really make an issue with you. You weren't a friend. You obviously have a personal problem with me. I don't know you or even remember what you look like. I did ask for your stats for the time you were here and they were considerably less than heroic numbers so I don't see were you are coming from in challenging my numbers. I will say though that we have lots of great things happening here and I really enjoy working here. In this market we need to have strategic advantages and we at eLIFE are striving to create them.

Good job figuring out my code to disguise my name. You must have just finished reading the DaVinci code to be so astute.

Again sorry to DMC I am glad that our friendship is as real as I thought it was. And good luck to any loan officers that are struggling to put ends together. We should work together to make the industry better rather than take our time to tear down other people and/or companies.

It is funny that all of these people say that Elife will not last because of the young management that the company is under. Well obvoiusly they know nothing about the people that are running elife. They are young but have more brains and talent in one of their finger nails than any all of the people writing these blogs combined. Especially you Eric.

The management is solid, smart, have a great concept, business model, management team and training platform that would allow any loan officer to succeed. How many of you L.O.'s that are writing these blogs have a retirement? How many could sell your business right now? How many have trained your future competition? How many have systems and training and access to tools and marketing advice and help on a daily basis? How many have top trained sales people offering their personal time to help you build your business? The list goes on and on folks. And if you are writing to dog elife, look in the mirror and ask yourself the same questions that you are saying about everybody else!! The fact of the matter is that if you actually have enough time to sit in these stupid rooms and bad mouth people then you don't do enough loans to make a difference anyways. LOL.

It saddens me to see peple be so negative in a time in history when negative is just not the answer. . .

The answer to the original question was does the mortgatge accelleration program work. . . the answer is yes. There are lot of variables involved and it is not for everybody but for those who apply the concepts and techniques, it does work.

eLIFE is a great company with great leadership. Their products are innovative and they do work. I personally know people who have had gret success with their mortgage accelleration program.

The Loan Officers are all wonderful people and really care about their clients. The management really cares about the Loan Officers. Nobody asked for this downturn in the market but the good news is that the doors are still open and moving forward with great zeal.

Can't we just all get along in a difficult time?

I don't like the way elife presents this to the borrowers. They hide information and outright lie by stating that there are no additional payments and indeed there are.

I am thrilled about e-life. Creative and ingenious business practices are just the thing to help the barrower. As I understand, e-life levels the playing field between lender and barrower, and for once, I would love to come out from the shackles. I have looked into their loan practices, and though they are not-standard- that is the very reason they will succeed.
The mess of our economy can be directly attributed to predatory lending; where mortgage loans where written like PEZ candy popped left and right; lenders taking advantage of barrowers for quick bonus “ and not thinking of consequences. E-lifes strategy puts strength into the lenders hands; this concept will continue to grow through-out the industry, because it works.
