Everhome just got my mortgage and yes, Ive found out about the so called "Processing Fee" they're charging if you don't pay on or before the due date (1st of the month).
They insist that the terms of my original agreement have not changed, so I assume thats why they're trying to call it a processing fee when really all it is an illegal LATE FEE because under my original loan agreement I was only charged a late fee after the 16th of the month.
They call it a phone processing fee even if you pay it on the website after the due date??
THESE PEOPLE ARE JUST THIEVES WITH FINANCE DEGREES, IMO.

Hi JAZ,
I can understand your frustration. Your hard earned money is being taken away by the mortgage company in the name of processing fee when they are not supposed to take it. I would suggest you to file a complaint against the mortgage company at the State Attorney General's office and to the BBB.

Thinking they have finance degrees is giving them to much credit..
