I received a payday loan from Loan Point back in July. Originally, the money was being drafted every two weeks on payday. For about 2 months now, this company has been drafting from my account every week!! Many times the money has not been in the account so my bank charged 35.00 for each time.
By my estimate I have already paid this company more than twice the amount borrowed. Can I stop payment on their draft?
Also, this company is VERY difficult to locate on the web or any where else and it seems that this is by design.

You can contact the company and ask them why they are garnishing your account when you have already paid the dues. If you cannot contact them or they do not give you a proper answer, you can lodge a complaint against them to your State Attorney General.
