Hi danielgreen!

Welcome to forums!

I have never heard of Northumbria Mortgages. However, when I googled it, I found it to be a UK based mortgage company. Their contact details will be:
Moss FLD, Carlisle, Cumbria CA6 4LU
Phone: 01228 675746

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.

Yes, he does seem to have dropped off the face of the earth ... with substantial funds from us. He is very difficult to get hold of, we get no receipts for payments to him or progress reports. He never answers his phone and his emails are usually just automated replies.

I don't think this guy works for them, I think he is Northumbria Mortgages. The real deal is Northumbrian Mortgages but he seems to be a bit evasive.

He arranged our original mortgages 3 years ago( with no problems) so when he phoned with a great mortgage deal we said yes. We've just sent him £499 so I hope it's not a scam!

I unfortunatley have recently had my license taken away by the fsa and have been unable to complete cases. I have refunded Daniel and looking to resolve the rest before can move on. I will set up a new email address today to deal with this only. Can you email me your name address and amount you believe is owed. I will be refunds sent out straight away. I have had problems with my busniness and do apologise for problems but do wish to resolve. I'll post the email address later today. Please respond direct to that and i'll sort. Again do apogolise. will post new email address on here later today.

Hi,
This man is an absolute con. He did my mortgage about 5 years ago and was very good as it was a smooth transaction. However he rang me a couple of weeks ago with a brilliant remortging offer and i sent him £500. I how now not heard from him and he does not answer emails or telephone calls. I have rung the FSA and they were very helpful and I have now will be seeking a claim for my money back through them. I have also contacted a friend who is in the Police who has suggested that I open a case against this con. Hope this information is helpful to anyone who has been taken in by this con
