Hi TOOPAYJAY ,

Have you applied for the loan? Platinum b services are also known as
E PayDay. As far as I know this is not a very honest company. I heard that people get harassed by this company. So it will be better if you have a detailed check about this company before you are involved in any kind of business with them.

Thanks,
Larry

Hello Toopayjay,

Even I agree with Larry. Platinum B Services does not have a good record. People are usually harassed by this company.

If you had not applied for the loan and if they are still calling you up to say that you are approved for the loan - don't you think it is unusual?

Hi Toopay,

Platinum B Services is also known as SJM Marketing. There have been several complaints against this company. Many people in this forums have reported about illegal activites of this company and they have even suffered at their hand sand lost their money. You can just go through experiences with PlatinumB or SJM to get a clear idea about what this company is up to.

Thanks,

Jerry

i currently have a $200 loan with them and i wanted to pay it off tomorrow
but i was trying to get in contact with them to see how much they would take out of my account. Now i have read the complaints and i want to know what i should do about my account with them since they have already taken the first $60 out of my account.

Hi tamaralittle,

Welcome to this forums.

As you want to pay the loan tomorrow, you can pay it. But keep a closure look at their actions. If they take out any further amount from your account even after paying the loan, you can lodge a formal complaint against them in the local police station and also in your local attorney general.

Feel free to ask if you have any further questions.

Thanks,
Larry

It sounds like this company is someone to watch out for. In all cases, never accept loans that you haven't applied for. Do adequate research of all lending institutions before accepting any funds or giving any personal information.

Anybody have a contact number for SJM/Patinum B???? I tried the one listed on website and the one listed in forums. It calls a sheet metal company.

Never allow a loan or credit card company to have access to your bank accounts. Why would you have a 200.00 loan with anyone. Live on a budget and save the money, it's cheaper with no risk. Way to many people on this forum live as if you have to borrow money to live, NOT TRUE. Save an emergency fund, even if you have to get a part-time job for awhile.

What reasons does a person borrow small amounts of money for.

1. He neglected to use his income to pay his necessities first.
2. He wanted something he didn't save cash for first.
3. He had a small emergency. (Car problem or Dr. visit etc.)

You either spend irresponcibly or you have a small emergency. The fact that you would borrow a small amount say's that you are financially a mess. You need to get on a strict budget, taking care of needs first then save an emergency fund.

Hi Guest,

Welcome to the forum.

Great advice indeed :). "Way to many people on this forum live as if you have to borrow money to live," See people are in problem that is why they are coming in this forum to share their problem and get a solution of it. Isn't it :) . But your advice is very worthy. We all should save aside an emergency fund because we never know what is going to happen next.

Hope you will enjoy participating in this forum and be a regular member.

Best of luck,
Larry

guest,

I do see your point but sometimes people find themselves a little short and have to use these companies. Hopefully they can pay it off very quickly and not end up paying a ton of money in fees.

Hi,

If you Need extra money to hold you over until your next paycheck, one option that you may want consider is applying for a online cash advance payday loan. If you have access to a computer, you can secure a payday loan online without a credit check, you may not even need to physically contact the loan company.
