i tried to refinance with this group last year.they quoted me one set of terms and then, after shuffling lots of papers back and forth, told me the original deal was obtainable only if i would pay some $4,000 in points. i had already closed the door on my other possibilities, but i still declined. i had to wait until sept to get back [with someone else] close to where i was supposed to have been with wyndham. in my opinion they are not trustworthy. the nc commissioner of banks [ 919-733-6918]needs to hear from others to determine if there is a pattern for wyndham. "bait and switch" should be for those folks selling refrigerators or used cars, not mortgages.
