Can Countrywide create an escrow account for insurance and real estate taxes w/o specific authority?
CW began foreclosure. I paid back and current payment & put house on market. Tried work out payment play until house sold.
CW Refused to work out reasonable payment plan & insisted on full monthly payment.
--Withholding funds for real estate taxes without authorization. I pay the taxes separately & they are current

If Countrywide is your lender then he can create an escrow account for insurance and real estate taxes on behalf of you.
But what did you mean to say with this "w/o specific authority?" What type of authority you are talking about?

You should take help of any foreclosure prevention counseling agency operating in your region to discuss your position with CW. They will try to figure out a solution that will be beneficial for both the parties.
Hi Dognshelter,
Do you want your CW lender to create an escrow account without specific authority which is illegal? You may ne penalized later for such illegal activity.
