Does a big credit card purchase affect score?

If you make payments on time that purchase will help you to improve your score but if make late payments it will have negative effects on your credit.

It will positively effect your score as long as you are up to date with payments and not late. Always remember if using a credit card to keep the balance at least 30% less than the cards value. I myself never knew this until reading it here in one of the threads. I thought it may be useful info for you so I am passing it along.

great response from everyone, I suggest you read through some old threads here, there is some wonderful advice on dealing with credit limits and etc. goodluck, keep it on a positive roll and you should be okay.

Sometimes when your looking for an exact older thread it is almost impossible to find. I tried this the other day on the insurance forum and couldn't find it. I was pretty frustrated and quit.
