I make @95K a year (have for 5+ years and 6 years with my current company). I lost my home after 9/11 and ended up filing for bankruptcy in 05 that was settled in 06. My current credit score is @640 and I'm looking at a house that I am comfortable with in pricing (129K) and I want to know if there is any chance I can get a mortgage with no down payment.
My rent over the past 4 years has been @1000. a month and I've never been late a single day....in fact I pay in advance!
Is there any chance I can get my hopes up? I really love this house!

I am not sure what the guidelines say about having a bankrupcty but the USDA loans allow for 100% financing.
hi kimbers,
after one year of filing bankruptcy, people nowadays are allowed to apply for a mortgage or loan. moreover you have good credit score and a good payment history, therefore many lenders may consider your application for the mortgage.

Yes. Right now you qualify for the FHA, VA and USDA programs.
