Since this seems to be a judgement and not a collection, you do have to pay them. A court has decided in favor of your creditor. A good thing to do is make contact, don't give your phone number out unless you want them calling you the entire day. But obviously they have your address. Sometimes, in older cases, they will settle for less than what is owed. Explain your situation, try to work out a payment, and try to get the balance owed lowered.
