i filed chapter 7 bankruptcy 03/2012. i had a mortgage with ibm lender services. it was included in the bankruptcy. the chapter 7 finalized few days back. i pulled my annual credit report, and to my surprise, had a hard inquiry within days of my ch7 finalized from ibm lender services. my question to all, does ibm lender services have any rights to pull my credit post-bankruptcy since i did have an account with them and i did declare a ch7?
Welcome Caster,
Unless you have applied for a loan, the lender cannot go for a hard enquiry.

Hello Caster,
That being the case it is necessary for you to understand the types of enquiry that's available today and know how that enquiry can be encouraged.

Hi Caster,
This procedure is also applicable to those who have bad credit ratings and are looking for a way to steadily build up.
Thanks....

Yes, but it should be a soft inquiry, not hard.
