There are many companies which will tell that they can help you to improve your credit score. But you can do that yourself also. Keep making payments regularly on all your debts and try to remove any entries which are not correct. Within a few months you will start to see improvements in your score.

Most such credit repair companies are scams.
Only your conscious effort, time and your own personal debt repayment strategy will help to improve score and entries on your report.

Tushar,
Welcome back to the Forum,
Nowadays, there are many online or offline organizations that offer to repair credit report. But most of them are scams as rightly said by Minova. You should avoid any credit repair companies that advices you to dispute all the negative information from your credit report.
The best way to repair your credit is to make continuous payments to clear all the outstanding debts. Thus you can be able to rebuild your credit.

You can and should also get a copy of all 3 reports. 2 of the 3 allow you to dispute any item and do it on-line. Equifax seems to want to stay with snail mail and in my opinion is by far the worst of the 3 agencies for accuracy.
If you dispute an account it may be deleted, the status changed on it, or it may remain the same. You don't have alot to lose by disputing in my opinion. I have had quite a few things removed that were technically allowed to remain, but the company with the debt never responded or the debt was sold etc etc.
Keep records of everything you do and either email or use mail - do not talk to collection people on the phone - again my opinion.

Hi Chris,
I could not understand what you meant to say. Why did you said that Equifax is the worst of the 3 agencies for accuracy? Please explain.

That's cool advice Chris. Indeed, one should maintaina recor dof every transcation that he goes through and also copies of mails sent to the credit bureaus or the creditors. You'll find such things really help in times of emergency.
As far as Equifax is concerned, well, I haven't heard any complaints from any of my friends who've had credit reports prepared by them. But yes, keeping the documents as proof of any legal and financial trsnaction really helps - at least you'll make an effort to dispute the items and keep things in order.
