To remove the adverse listings from my credit report, I have sent goodwill emails to my creditors. If they remove it, will that immediately increase my credit score? Or is it removed from the face of the report, but lingers in the background and there's a waiting period until it is fully gone?
Hi Blueblossom,
Though the creditors remove negative listing from your credit report, it won't improve your score immediately. It will take few months time to find a improvement in your credit report.
Take care

Hi Blueblossom,
You won't be able to see an immediate increase in your credit score though you send a goodwill letter to the creditors. You will have to wait for 3-5 months in order to find an increase in your credit scores.
Thanks

Once the creditor agrees to remove the negative marks, you'll probably need to wait 30-60 days for the changes to appear on your credit reports. However, once your credit reports are updated, your FICO scores should see immediate improvements.
