Now that I have rebuilt my credit, I've decided rebuild my girlfriend’s credit after a Chapter 7 BK discharged in 2011. I thoroughly enjoyed achieving each goal and finding the negative items removed and seeing the fruits of my labor with an increase in credit score. I'm looking for some advice about where to go from here. I got her two rebuild cards a Capital One card and an Orchard Bank (Cap One). They've been PIF the last two months. There are two other trade lines among which the car loan has reaffirmed in the BK and a $1K CD / Secured Loan I setup. Is this where I'm going to be stuck at for a while? or is there anything else I can do?
The cards which have been paid in full can be removed from her credit report by negotiating with the collection agency. If the car loan has been reaffirmed, then it will remain in her credit report as a normal account. She will have to make continuous payments on that account in order to maintain a positive payment history.
Hi Base!

Niics is correct. If the car loan has been reaffirmed, then your girlfriend has become personally liable for paying off the loan. She will have to pay off the debt in full or else it will be repossessed.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
