What else should I buy to build score?

Posted on: 18th Feb, 2013 01:29 am
Hi everyone!! I need help. I have a credit score of 593 and want to build my score. I have no collection mentioned on my credit report. There are late payments on my credit report and I am taking steps to fix it up. I want to open a secured credit card. What else should I buy in order to rebuild my score?
Hi Guest,

Taking out a secured credit card is definitely a good way to rebuild your credit. With a credit score of 593, it will be very difficult for you to take out a loan to buy any other thing. So, you should wait for your scores to rise so that you can take out a loan to buy a home or a car.

Thanks,

Jerry

The path that you have chosen to improve your score is correct. Just stick to it. With time, your score will improve. Make sure that you don't default or make late payments in future.
